Sire Toulon and grandsire Heartbreaker were both successful international show jumpers. Even as a young horse, Toulon won many championships before embarking on his career with Hubert Bourdy. The highlights of this career include Grand Prix wins in Brussels, Spruce Meadows, Arezzo, Cannes and Valkenswaard, and a Global Champions Tour win in Sao Paulo. Maternal grandsire Padarco celebrated major successes with Otto Becker in Oslo and Arnheim, at the "Sires of the World" show in Bordeaux and came ninth in the World Cup final. Padarco's sire, Darco, is considered to be one of the world's leading show jumping sires and he successfully competed at the Olympic Games in Barcelona and at the World Championships in Stockholm. Toulouse's great granddam produced Bundeschampionat finalist Balougold, and successful international competition horses such as Goldika/Ulrich Meyer zu Bexten and Derrick/Sören von Rönne are also descended from this line.
